iMommy Intervention Study

Are you pregnant?
Do you want to help design a new intervention for pregnant women?

We are interested in your feedback on a potential multimedia intervention
program for pregnant women that will promote healthy eating, physical
activity, stress reduction and positive parenting skills.

We need women who are:

  • Less than 20 weeks pregnant with their first child
  • English speakers
  • Between the ages of 18 and 35
  • African-American and Caucasian
  • Free of any chronic medical condition (such as diabetes, hypertension,
  • or heart disease)

If eligible, you will be asked to participate in one individual interview session
that will last 90 minutes. Drinks and refreshments will be provided and you
will receive $20 at the completion of the session.

If you would like to participate, call CHAI Core at (919)843-9612.

This research is being conducted by the Department of Nutrition and Epidemiology
