The N.C. Women’s Health Report Card is produced every two years by The Center for Women’s Health Research at UNC using data compiled from State and U.S. Census Bureau health reports and statistics.
It is designed much like a school report card with grades of A, B, C, D, and F given based on improvements or declines in several indicators for women’s health.
The Report Card is distributed throughout the State to government officials, health care providers, agencies and individuals as a valuable tool in evaluating the health status and health care needs of the 3.7 million women in North Carolina.
