The Center for Women's Health Research is part of the UNC School of Medicine and is the women's health research program for The Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research.

Catalyze inter-and intra-disciplinary research in women’s health
Outreach to the community through programs focusing on women’s health issues
Research conducted in coordination with partners in priority subject areas - preterm birth, gynecologic cancers, obesity and associated conditions (diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease), and mental health and substance abuse
Educate the next generation of women’s health researchers; educate others about the Center
